1. BEGINNER or EXPERIENCED

Therefore, more aggressive surfskates are not suitable for beginners, and equipment designed for beginners doesn’t meet the needs of the more daring and radical crowd. Check out the tables and descriptions of each model, and choose your OVNI surfskate based on this important criterion.
2. WHAT SURF STYLE
   For those who already surf, this criterion is crucial. OVNI is the only surfskate brand that allows you to simulate various types of surfboards. If you already surf, check the tables and descriptions of each model and choose your OVNI surfskate based on this factor.
3. TYPE OF WAVE
   OVNI surfskates can also be chosen based on the type of surface you plan to skate on, just like surfboards are selected based on wave types. If you prefer radical surfing and love performing tricks in bowls or skate parks, choose a surfskate with the OVNI ANDROMEDA surfskate truck. If you plan to surf on flat surfaces and small waves (flat and/or gently inclined surfaces), opt for a surfskate with the OVNI ORION or SIRIUS surf simulator truck.The ORION model is best for lighter and smaller individuals and works best at lower speeds.

4. AGE/WEIGHT/HEIGHT
   First and foremost, pay attention to the age and/or height of the person who will be using the surfskate. A person who is small in stature and/or very light will not be able to maneuver a larger surfskate or one with a medium/heavy spring and bushings setup. If you're choosing for a child aged 4-6, opt for a KIDS surfskate.
   For light and short individuals, choose a MINI SIMMONS surfskate.
   All other models are designed for use by teenagers and adults of average or taller height. For this group, the other criteria outlined above should apply.

There are two schools of thought on what is the best surfskate for beginners: more stable or most agile?
